Liverpool's Royal Court theatre hopes the donations will strike a chord with its young students.
A youth theatre is asking for donations of unwanted musical instruments so young people can learn to play them.
From violins to vuvuzelas and trombones to triangles - all will be collected so the young dramatists can add another string to their skills.The sessions provide an introduction and training for a career in the arts with opportunities to learn about acting, stage management, fundraising and writing scripts.
