Homes will have NO on-site car parking
A plan to convert the upper floors of a building in Altrincham town centre into a complex of five apartments has been submitted. The accommodation on the upper floors of the office building on George Street will be augmented by the building of second and third-floor extensions and dormer windows to the front and rear.
The shop is a separate entity of this building and, therefore, does not form part of the application. The existing offices to the upper floors is currently accessed via both George Street and Brewery Street. Three larger two-bedroom apartments will face both George Street and Brewery Street, while two one-bed flats will face only Brewery Street. A design and access statement from The Design Room Architecture & Interiors says that the address at in the pedestrianised zone of George Street is a short walk from Altrincham Transport Interchange.
