The Belgian got off to the perfect start as he saw Gers rack up a 4-0 win over Hibs.
Chuffed Philippe Clement believes Rangers have "a lot" of work to despite cruising to victory over Hibs in his first game as manager.
But there was a very different result and energy as Clement urged his side to take risks in their attacking play that would eventually unlock the visitors on four separate occasions. Speaking to BBC Sportsound he felt that there had been an instant reaction from the team - but declared work needed done on the "fundamentals" of the team.
"In general, I saw what I wanted to see. To play dominant football. We need to raise our physical level, which will be an interesting task with a game every two days but we have done it before. Interesting evening and happy to win. I am happy to see the synergy with the players and the fans. It starts with the players going full for the first few minutes, with two set-pieces and two corners. The fans got behind the team. I think we need that to win trophies.
