Would you mind if Watford Junction ticket offices were scrapped?
Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: “In recent years we have seen services cut and fares rise – now we are losing the vital ticket office at Watford Junction station.
“Residents and visitors who use Watford Junction station hugely value having staff members on hand to provide support.A spokesperson for London Northwestern Railways, which manages the station, said: “No decisions have been taken over the future of ticket offices, including Watford Junction. “The rail industry, in partnership with the Government, is currently considering how to keep pace with changing passenger habits, including migration to digital technology.
“Any modernisation proposals will always strive to keep tickets easily available and recognise the benefit of face-to-face assistance for passengers.”
