Recorded in Perth, Shine is the debut album set to go live in December by the vocalist Katie Whittaker who is already seeing great reaction to her first single 'Pick Me Up' released last month.
Perthshire vocalist Katie Whittaker has expressed her pride after reaching a milestone moment in her musical career.
“It’s a massive deal for me as a completely independent artist to have worked my way up the local music scene to finally have my own headline show as well as to finally be able to release my debut album,” Katie said. From soaring steels and stacked electric guitars to saxophone riffs, massive string arrangements and accordion solos, the tracks have been “produced beautifully”.Katie has been a favoured Perthshire vocalist since arriving to study at UHI Perth back in 2009.
