UPDATE | Indianapolis police say JD's Pub and Grill, where a person was shot early Saturday, has been closed until further notice. Story:
Officers first responded shortly before 3:20 a.m. to JD's Pub and Grill in the 6900 block of Eagle Highlands Way for a report of a person shot, according to IMPD.
Police discovered more than 15 shell casings at the scene, indicating indiscriminate shooting, said IMPD Deputy Chief Kendale Adams. Police did not find a victim when they first arrived at the pub and were told by dispatch that they were going to a local hospital. Later, Indiana State Police told IMPD that person had crashed on I-65 between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street and 38th Street.
