A person has been rescued from the water in Leeds city centre
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 7.47pm on Thursday, March 14, with reports of a person in the water near Chadwick Street in Leeds city centre. Four crews arrived at the scene.
This consisted of two crews from Leeds including the water rescue unit, a crew from Killingbeck and a crew from Rothwell. The person was then rescued from the water.The person was cared for afterwards by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service. WYFRS said: "We were called to Chadwick Street at 1947 yesterday to reports of a person in the water.
"We sent four crews, Leeds Killingbeck and Rothwell. One casualty was rescued by crews and left in the care of the Ambulance service."
