A 999 response was called this morning
Transport officers and paramedics responded to a report of a casualty on the train line near Uddingston shortly before 6am on Monday.The incident is not being considered suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.via Uddingston before the line reopened at 9am.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said:"Officers were called to Uddingston station at 5.54am following reports of a casualty on the tracks."The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal."
