Byron Burger's old site is currently empty
The ECHO reported last week that Byron Burger was preparing to move from its current site on Paradise Street to a new venue on Thomas Steers Way. This is located in the unit previously occupied by Bill’s restaurant, close to the Hilton Hotel.
This has left Bryon’s previous location empty. Located next to Brown's Brasserie and Bar. The area also has retail shops such as John Lewis and Urban Outfitters close by, as well as a branch of Pret A Manger. One reader, commenting on the ECHO site, said: “Planet Hollywood, every major world city has one.” Planet Hollywood is a Hollywood-themed restaurant with sites in Orlando, Los Angeles Airport, Malta and Qatar.
But many agreed that one addition with locations worldwide would be ideal for the city centre. In the comment section, one ECHO reader said: “The fact that we don't have a Hard Rock Cafe in a city famous for music is ridiculous.”
