He was taken to hospital and the road was closed
A pensioner has been seriously injured after a crash which partially closed a road. Emergency services were called to Derby Road near the entrance to Queen's Medical Centre last night at around 7.30pm after reports of a crash.
A man in his 70s was taken to hospital and the road between the QMC and the A52 Clifton Boulevard was closed. To this end we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed these events earlier this evening – particularly anyone who may have recorded dashcam or other video footage at the scene.”
