Emergency services raced to the scene near Sand Voe after the alarm was raised at around 1.15pm on Friday.
Ambulance crews attended but an 83-year-old man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin are aware.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “About 1.15pm on Friday, November 3, 2023, we were called to a report of an incident involving a quad bike on land near Sand Voe, Shetland.
