Many of the same Congress people who bitterly opposed a shutdown to save lives during COVID are hellbent on shutting down government now.

But saving Pennsylvania’s children doesn’t seem to be among the priorities for many members of the Freedom Caucus. Cutting spending for programs that help working families is. They don’t seem to understand that the families they hurt with their slash and burn tactics vote Republican as well as Democrat. These families and their children make up every hue in our national rainbow. They live in urban, suburban, and rural areas.
