Pedestrian suffers major injuries in Oceanside hit-and-run [Breaking]
OCEANSIDE – A pedestrian was flown by an air ambulance helicopter to an unidentified hospital with major injuries Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle that drove off without stopping.
Oceanside Police are investigating the hit-and-run collision, which occurred around 6:30 p.m. on North Redondo Drive between Luna Drive and Martin Street. The road was closed for several hours while traffic investigators combed the scene. The condition of the victim was unknown at press time. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Oceanside Police Department, 760-435-4431.
