Police have appealed for witnesses
A woman aged in her seventies is in hospital in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Ballymena, Co Antrim.Police received a report shortly after 7pm that a silver Vauxhall Astra had been in collision with a pedestrian.The woman was taken to hospital following the crash where she remains in a critical condition.The road was closed for a number of hours but has since re-opened.
