The Pearland Chamber of Commerce's inaugural Taste of the Town event on Nov. 9 will showcase some of the community's diverse food traditions and local restaurateurs' spirit of entrepreneurship.
Emma’s Mexican Grill will be one of the eateries featured at Pearland Chamber of Commerce's Taste of the Town.event on Nov. 9 will showcase some of the community's diverse food traditions and local restaurateurs' spirit of entrepreneurship.
Participants include smaller, more recently opened eateries such as Ms. Norma's Café and coffee shops as well as food trucks and restaurants that started out as food trucks.“Pearland is one of the most diverse communities, and our culinary landscape is just as diverse,” chamber president Jim Johnson said.
The event is also a way to boost the local restaurant community as it continues to recover from the pandemic, said Jennifer Berti, the chamber’s vice president.
