The Good Friday event returns this week after a two-year absence due to COVID-19 precautions.
By noon, the Crucifixion will be held in front of San Fernando Cathedral, followed by the stations of the cross inside. The Rev. Carlos Velázquez, who took over as rector of San Fernando last year, is looking forward to a large attendance, having seen the turnout for recent public events, such as Fiesta 2022.
