The app lets children talk, play games and video chat with strangers
Yubo instantly connects users with people all over the world. Users can find each other based on interests and can then livestream, play games or chat.
The minimum age is 13, but those behind it say its 'age gates' are used to put users in 'different communities' to limit the interaction between teens and adults.According to techcrunch.com, Yubo uses age-estimation technology so users can confirm their age using their phone camera, which it claims has 98.9% accuracy.
