Bosses at the centre say the closure is temporary and most children have been able to relocate to another of their sites
Parents say they are struggling to find childcare for their little ones following the temporary closure of a nursery.
"When I called up I was told it's closed until further notice as they don't have enough staff," said the 25-year-old. "My son struggles with change anyway and had one-to-one support at the nursery as I'm getting help with his behaviour. I don't know what we're going to do now as the school nursery I called is full."
Nursery bosses say they spent weeks preparing for the change and for many families the move to the Hyde centre has been seamless, with around 70% relocating and many of them able to keep the same key workers they had before. They have a third centre in Dukinfield. "Whilst it is common for parents to change email address and phone numbers and therefore can't be contacted, it is clear from the numbers of children who have moved over that the majority of our parents we're fully informed.
