Sellout crowd at Petco Park has plenty to cheer as sense of normalcy returns to ballpark
Long lines at Petco Park entrances. Crowded concourses inside the ballpark. Loud cheers. “It’s pretty enthusiastic everywhere,” Nasif said, “around the downtown area, on the trolley, at the food court. The chains were hanging among the caps and jerseys and other souvenirs in the Padres Team Store, selling for $40 .“I guarantee you everybody’s going to be blinging,” Sergio Romero assured.
