A Pa. firefighter offered to show a young girl the firetrucks at the local fire hall. He’s accused of raping her there, instead.reports 28-year-old Timothy Fitz is now facing charges related to rape, indecent assault and corruption of minors.
The news station cites the criminal complaint in the case saying Fitz offered to give the girl a tour of the Dale Borough fire department and show her the firetrucks back in October 2019. Instead, Fitz eventually took the girl into the lieutenant’s office where he refused to let her leave and then sexually assaulted her, the complaint states.
The girl, whose exact age wasn’t listed in the WJAC-TV report, told police that she fought back and tried to force Fitz off her. Afterwards, Fitz told her he’d hurt her if she ever told anyone, police state.
