She filed a complaint with Ozempic via the company’s 1-800 number and reported the medical mishap to the Food & Drug Administration .“I researched on the internet and found that Ozempic can indeed cause hives, rashes, and other adverse effects,” said Rosas, who discontinued use of the drug on Sept. 5. “It still hurts when I have to urinate or defecate, and it often starts peeling again because of the friction,” said the survivor.
