GRAPHIC IMAGE WARNING: Anne and John Baker are living in fear as the two dogs have been allowed to remain living just 100 yards from their Fife home.
The owners of a Border Collie that was mauled to death by two Staffordshire Bull Terriers have hit out at a ‘lack of action’ by authorities.
She was later put to sleep after being given a 'one in a million' chance of recovering from her numerous injuries. A dog control notice has been issued by Fife Council’s dog warden meaning the Staffies must be kept on lead and muzzled in public places. “We couldn’t bear it if the same thing happened again. I’ve had to hold my weeping wife while she cuddled Missy’s ashes, apologising that she couldn’t save her. This is going to stay with her for the rest of her life.”
“This has changed my whole life. It’s just been terrible. People in the area are scared. They keep coming up to me asking if I’m alright.
