The Metropolitan Police said 31 people had been charged on Tuesday after activists caused disruption in Parliament Square on Monday.Demonstrators lay on the floor of every corner of the square on Monday after marching around in orange jackets.The Met said 61 arrests were made at the demonstration under section seven of the Public Order Act .
This allows officers to make an arrest if a protester "disproportionately interferes with road transport infrastructure".
