– A man is in custody after he reportedly pointed a gun at two Houston Fire Department paramedics in west Houston Monday, officers with the Houston Police Department said.
It happened in the 3300 block of Breezewood Drive around 6 p.m. when one of the medic units was returning to the station. Investigators said a vehicle pulled up next to the crew and the suspect pointed a gun at them. Westside patrol officers responded to the scene, HPD said.Chief Samuel Peña with HFD made a public plea for safety after the incident.
