Nothing those doctors prescribed him, such as antibiotics, helped with his symptoms. Ultrasounds, semen analyses, and testosterone levels all seemed unremarkable.Shanholtzer says one possible explanation for POIS is damage to the testicles causing sperm to enter the bloodstream.
