CCTV footage released by the CPS shows Dustin Lance Black, husband of Tom Daley shows the moment he is accused of grabbing a BBC3 stars wrist 'very hard'.
The Oscar-winning screenwriter was cleared of assault by a judge on ThursdayBBC presenter Terry Edwardes took to Instagram last night to break her silence after her allegations of assault against former Olympic diver Tom Daley 's husband Dustin Lance Black were thrown out by a judge.
On Thursday a judge took the unusual step of dismissing the assault case before the defence had even begun - deciding at the end of the prosecution case there was insufficient evidence any assault occurred. The BBC presenter hosts 'The Big Proud Party Agency' on BBC3 and founded a gay club night, which now has its own venue, strictly for women and non-binary people called LICK.
Mr Daley can be seen appearing to attempt to calm Mr Black down before Mr Black moves his hand towards Ms Edwardes, who dropped the glass she was holding. The defence argued Mr Black took hold of Ms Edwardes drink, but did not touch her.
'I understand it is quite rare for cases to be stopped at this point, but, in my submission, when you are faced with such unreliable and inconsistent evidence, you can put a stop at this stage.'
