Charisma Osborne and IImar’I Thomas record double-doubles as the Bruins hand the host Wildcats their second straight loss, 64-46.
TUCSON, Ariz. — Charisma Osborne and IImar’I Thomas had double-doubles and the UCLA women’s basketball team handed No. 12 Arizona its second straight loss, 64-46, on Thursday night.
Arizona shot just 28% – its worst effort of the season – on its way to a season-low point total. The Wildcats hit only 4 of 16 shots from 3-point range, and were outrebounded by a season-high 22 boards, 48-26. After the Wildcats tied the game with a free throw to start the third quarter, Jaelynn Penn hit a 3-pointer to put UCLA on top for good. The Bruins went on an 11-3 run to lead by nine and Osborne scored four points in the last minute for a 46-35 lead going into the fourth quarter.
