Coleraine boss pleased to see key player start to fulfil his potential
Oran Kearney was delighted to se star man Conor McKendry pick up the plaudits once more as his brace helped Coleraine pick up three valuable points at Newry City on Friday night.
The Bannsiders boss feels McKendry has the qualities to be up there with the very best in the league.He has certainly shown it so far this season. His brace against Newry took him on to six goals for the season and earned him glowing praise from his manager.“We are speaking about Conor more and more every week and it’s what I’ve always craved and wanted.
“We are starting to see that from Conor, he’s possibly ahead with the goals than what he weighed in with last season and he’s had plenty of assists. “He’s very hard working, a pleasure to have around the place and ideally we want to keep his head down and keep working at it.
