Our world was turned upside down after Jimmy and Monique’s deaths. The family’s laughter and spirit of adventure were replaced by anxiety, depression and nightmares as our tight-knit unit frayed in Jimmy’s absence. Antoinette, who is now 99 years old, still struggles with Jimmy’s and Monique’s untimely deaths. Kathleen and Donald mourn for what could have been: Their children will never know the man who would have been an incredible role model and uncle.
