Contrary to conservatives' bad faith arguments, Fetterman's issues aren't on par with Feinstein's.

Evidence suggests Feinstein is unable to do the essential functions of her job, while Fetterman has shown he is able to do the job if given the proper accommodations.during the Obama administration, said that some people, including some people with disabilities, think that talking about accommodations automatically means there should be a blanket excuse for everyone with any type of disability regardless of whether they can fulfill the essential functions of the job.

“Somebody … might be able to do that job, to work the hours of that job, to read and mark up the legislation, to manage the staff, like all of the things that go into being a representative, somebody might be able to do it in their 80s,” Cokley said. “And the person in the office next to them might not be able to do it in their 80s, and that’s OK.”
