One Show guest Prue Leith forced to apologise after she’s told off by host for swearing live on air
Prue quickly said: “ I am sorry, I am very unhappy about it because he has turned out to be an absolute star.”Those watching at home were equally as gobsmacked by the swearing, with one person commenting: “Prue leith swearing live on the one show at 7:30pm has sent me west.”
A second said: “#MiriamMargolyes has some competition As #PrueLeith sling’s Profanities about her Husband on #TheOneShow.”Dame Prue continued talking about John, 77, being part of it and said: "I mean, I thought I was being really kind as it’s at home, in our house, so the least I can let him do is be in it – or ask him if he’d like to be in it.
She continued: "Well, he turns out to be an absolute natural! I keep on wanting to say, 'Look, I’m supposed to be the telly star around here!'". Joking, she added: "I can see if we ever get a second series, it’ll be John Playfair’s Cotswold Kitchen and I’ll get a walk-on part…"‘DUG HER OUT’
