UPDATE: The victim is believed to be either a Hispanic or Native American man in his 30s or 40s.
Police responded to a shooting after 5:30 a.m. in the 10900 block of San Diego Mission Road. One man was found in a parking lot with a gunshot wound to the chest when police arrived.
His identity has not been released. However, the victim is believed to be either a Hispanic or Native American man in his 30s or 40s. Officers believe a white, silver, or light-colored vehicle may have been involved in the shooting and sped away from the shooting scene.Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call the Homicide Unit at 531-2293 or Crime Stoppers at 580-8477.
