YORK, Pa. — Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person Thursday in York County.Northern York County Regional Police.
Officers dispatched to the scene found a 38-year-old male victim, who has sustained a gunshot wound to the left arm/shoulder. He was taken to York Hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition, according to police. Witnesses were able to provide information on the shooter, identifying him by his street name “Kato," police said.
“Kato” was described as a teenaged male from the Philadelphia area, who had been staying in the mobile home park for several months and after an altercation earlier in the day, was told by the victim that he needed to leave, according to police.Prior to the shooting, “Kato” returned with two other people in a white Dodge Durango, police said. A verbal confrontation ensued between the victim, “Kato”, and a woman that was with him.
