Shortly before 9 p.m., police responded to reports of a possible collision near the 1200 block of 76th Avenue.
When police arrived, they found a crashed vehicle at 76th Avenue and Rudsdale Street, and began providing emergency life-saving measures to one of its occupants. Despite their efforts, that person was pronounced dead at the scene. Other officers also responded, blocking off streets near the crash. Two other people were found inside the vehicle suffering from injuries, and firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to provide care. Their conditions were not available Wednesday night.
