Olivia Newton-John's daughter Chloe Lattanzi shared a quote on her Instagram reflecting on the nature of grief.

Newton-John died on August 8 at age 73 at her ranch in Southern California surrounded by her friends and family. Her passing came thirty years after she was first diagnosed with breast cancer, which led to a partial mastectomy, chemotherapy, and breast reconstruction. Five years ago, she revealed her cancer had returned and metastasized to her sacrum. Newton-John's family asked that, in lieu of flowers, any donations be made in her memory to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund.
