Yesterday on N7 day, BioWare started to get fans’ hopes up with a single question, “Where doThe question was posed across a bunch of social channels from different accounts and producers, and it got fans excited that a newwas coming…someday. This isn’t really news per se. BioWare has spoken about how they wantto return at some point in the future for a while now, and frankly, it would defy all logic and reason if it didn’t.
BioWare famously pivoted away from a First Contact war prequel into the “new galaxy” concept of Andromeda after fans said they weren’t interested in the former. So I’m not sure how much stock BioWare should really be putting into “fan voting,” but here’s my take.Yes, I realize the problems this creates. There are at least three endings with Destroy, Control and Synthesis in the famed multiple choice finale, and I can’t remember if they added any more in the DLC.
Between Control and Destroy, I’m not sure which to pick. Destroy is the “obvious” ending, just cleaning house of the Reapers once and for all, but I think Control would be the more interesting take, as Shepard-controlled Reapers helping rebuild society would be ominous but also allow for some shortcuts, as in, the relay fast travel network could be rebuilt relatively quickly so reconnect the galaxy.
