The first of 15 spring practices at Ohio State are scheduled to begin on March 7 and run through the spring game on April 15.
The Buckeyes have set March 7 as the start to 15 workouts that are to be held over the following weeks.that shared the dates of the practices beginning in early March.
Following their first two practices, the Buckeyes will be off for a week as part of the university’s spring break, then return on March 21. They are to hold three practices a week, also including March 23-25-28-30 and April 1-3-5-7-10-12-14, followed by the spring game on April 15.the date for the spring game. Tickets for the intrasquad scrimmage, open to the public at Ohio Stadium, are to go on sale on Feb. 10.
Much of the intrigue in spring practice will involve the quarterback competition to replace C.J. Stroud, the two-time Heisman Trophy finalist who has . Kyle McCord and Devin Brown, who were the backups behind Stroud last season and former decorated passers coming out of high school, are the favorites to take over behind center.
