An off-duty Plano Police officer exchanged gunfire with a man who retrieved his gun after getting into an argument with a store clerk.
- Plano Police are on the scene of an apparent officer-involved shooting that took place in the east part of the city.
At about 4:30 p.m., police got a weapons call at a store near the intersection of 14th Street and Shiloh Road. Two men were shooting at each other when officers arrived, and police ordered both men to drop their weapons. Both shooters complied with the order.Police said that one of the shooters was an off-duty officer in street clothes who was coming from training and stopped to get a drink.
