OAKLAND — An Oakland man has been sent to state prison after pleading no contest to pimping a 15-year-old girl who identified him by the nickname “Chicken Nugget,” court records show.
Christopher Porter-Bailey, 33, was sentenced to six years in state prison with a chance for a 50 percent reduction with good behavior. He was transferred to North Kern State Prison in September and has a tentative 2025 parole date, records show. Porter-Bailey was initially charged with human trafficking of a minor, but took a plea deal on a pimping charge, records show. His attorney argued at his preliminary hearing that the trafficking charge was a bridge too far and that the state’s pimping statute was a better fit for the allegations.
According to court records, the alleged victim — a 15-year-old girl — was “contacted” by police during an undercover prostitution sting in Oakland. She identified her pimp as a man nicknamed “Chicken Nugget,” whom authorities identified as Porter-Bailey.
