New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has appointed a rising star in the field of law-enforcement technology to reboot the agency that oversees the city’s internet services and telecommunications, officials said Wednesday.
New York Police Department’s Deputy Commissioner of Information Technology Jessica Tisch, who has been credited with the rollout of the latest technology within the NYPD, will assume the leadership of the city’s Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, or DoITT, on Monday, officials said.
