It's been a busy week in the courts
This week in court saw four defendants jailed for a total of 36 years after their DNA linked them to three "slam guns" recovered from a flat in Top Valley. Tobias Holmes, aged 33, of HMP Nottingham, was sentenced on Friday for possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, and possession of ammunition without a firearm certificate.
His co-accused and partner, Anna Wolska, 39, was convicted of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and sentenced to five years. The judge said the jury was satisfied she directed Miran to attack Mr Walicki and prevented his friends from helping him during the attack. He must sign a contract to complete objectives after he pleaded guilty to driving an e-scooter, without insurance or a licence, when he caused the death of Mrs Davis. Read the full story here.
