Nottingham nutritionist John Clarke has shared his top tips for people who are trying to lose weight. The Carlton-based nutritionist has been in the industry for more than 20 years after receiving a diploma in Sports Science. Mr Clarke works alongside professional athletes as well as creating weight loss plans for many other people. Most recently, he worked with a married couple from Carlton who managed to lose a combined 56lbs in 56 days.

“I work with people to get them from A to B a lot of people struggling mentally with weight loss, I also get people in who are struggling with depression,” the nutritionist said. Should Nottingham City Council have managed its finances better over the last 10 years? “The whole plan is a well-being plan, it’s not just a weight plan it’s about getting people moving and feeling good about themselves getting exercise and getting endorphins running rather than going down the medicine route which a lot of people do.” John shared his top four tips for people who are trying to lose weight.
