Jamie Robinson, the first team coach of Nottingham Forest, has left the club after 15 months. Robinson played a crucial role in securing Forest's Premier League status and will now set up his own coaching consultancy.

The 51-year-old was brought to Forest by head coach Steve Cooper in the summer of 2022, after the duo worked at the Football Association together for five years.

He was a key member of the coaching staff as Forest secured their Premier League status last summer, in what was their first season back in the top flight for over two decades. His remit at Forest also covered the development of coaches, and he has done similar roles with the FA and PFA.

"I’ve had a fantastic experience at Forest," Robinson told Training Ground Guru. "To be involved in the coaching staff that kept the club in the Premier League for the first time in 23 years - ahead of the likes of Leeds United and Leicester City - was fantastic. "I’m really proud of that achievement and the whole of the coaching staff should be too. Now I’m going on my own and am focused on helping coaches to get better. My approach has always been to walk in their shoes and to take a holistic approach."
