Forest could be punished after releasing a statement which criticised the video assistant referee in the aftermath of their loss at Everton
The statement read: “Three extremely poor decisions – three penalties not given – which we simply cannot accept.
But Forest are more likely to find themselves facing an FA sanction, after their inflammatory accusations about VAR Stuart Attwell, with the governing body already confirming an investigation.that, two months ago, they took the drastic step of appointing ex-official Mark Clattenburg as a club referee analyst to try and help cope with the problem.
“I share the feeling of the club because it is not only this game, it has been a while for poor decisions against us. It is not an excuse but we are not comfortable with the referees.”
