Booking is open now for the events at Nottingham Castle in May
People can now book their place at the first events in the grounds of Nottingham Castle ahead of its re-opening for £1. The grounds of the castle will host screenings of the the King's Coronation, Coronation Concert and Eurovision Final on a giant 28sqm screen with a concert-quality sound system.
On the evening of Sunday, May 7, the Coronation Concert will be shown live from Windsor Castle, featuring music icons, a world-class orchestra and spoken word sequences delivered by stars of stage and screen. People are invited to bring picnic food and blankets for these picnic-style screening events to celebrate the Coronation and food and drink will also be available to buy on site.The last screening on Saturday, May 13 will be a live broadcast of the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final.
For the Eurovision screening, Nottingham City Council is holding a number of tickets for Ukrainian guests, hosts and residents in Nottingham, and will be in touch with them in the coming days on how to get access. Tickets can be booked for the Coronation, Coronation Concert and Eurovision Final screenings via www.whatsonnottingham.com.
