Blackpool's Notrianni calls out 'scumbag' after man breaks in and steals charity boxes
An incredibly popular family-run parlour in Blackpool has shared the moment they suffered a break-in which saw £50 stolen from the premises and their charity boxes rinsed.
In the early hours of Wednesday , the Blackpool cafe and ice cream parlous suffered a break-in which saw roughly £50 stolen from the premises and the family's charity boxes emptied by the intruder. Maddelena Vettese from the business told LancsLive repairing the damage caused by the break-in is a huge 'inconvenience' with staff feeling 'on edge' after the incident.
The family had been alerted about the break-in at around eight am this morning after owner Luca Vettese received a phone call informing him that it appeared they had been broken into. Maddelena told LancsLive: "We all came down and the café door was completely smashed and put through. So we've checked the CCTV and it's just one guy on a bike.
"He can't have got away with much, probably like £50 if that, and then he's just left. But its just the inconvenience with it all, we're having to get a new door put on with glass, we had to wait for the police to come out so we couldn't open on time."
