The aurora lights up the skies across the East of England to the delight of photographers.
Richard Rawling captured shots of the aurora on his phone camera at Hingham, shortly after 19:00 GMT.
The lights are caused by the interaction of the solar wind, a stream of charged particles escaping the Sun and Earth's atmosphere.
