Eight councils will merge under a new name and logo from April 2023.
Eight councils that currently operate across North Yorkshire will be merged into one new local authority on 1 April 2023
A new council will replace the eight local authorities currently covering North Yorkshire on 1 April 2023. The emblem was designed internally and assets will only be replaced when they wear out, according to the council.
