A North Ridgeville park bathroom was vandalized for the second time in five years Thursday.
NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio - Police said two or three juveniles vandalized the men’s bathroom at South Central Park around 5:20 p.m. Thursday.“It’s really horrible because my daughter and we come to this park every single week and it’s horrible to think that people are vandalizing a place that I come with my family,” Polito said.
“I think that it’s important to realize that there’s crimes happening here and there’s gonna be consequences to their actions,” said Sgt. Gorski. Sgt Gorski said the teens caused nearly $2,500 worth of damage and it’ll probably take the city at least a few weeks to replace the doors the mirror and the dryers.
“Make them be the park cleaners,” said park-goer, Vicki Wisniewski. “They have to be here pick up the poop, pick up the sticks laying around so people aren’t tripping over it it’s a great idea. Public service is a wonderful way to show children that they need responsibility.”
