new! music!
The holiday music continues to pour in as Thanksgiving draws near. This week on the playlist, you’ll find a melancholic Christmas track from Bryson Tiller featuring Justin Bieber and Poo Bear as well as one by Will Joseph Cook, who also dropped a holiday-esque single titled, “No Time To Be Alone.”
Elsewhere in new music this week, Rico Nasty teamed up with Flo Milli for fun and flirty club banger “Money," and NIKI slowed it down with a beautiful retro-feeling ballad titled “Split.” Erika Tham dropped an acoustic rendition of “Admit It,” which features Brian Kennedy. Plus, we have new tracks from Haroe featuring Nile Rodgers and Dai Burger featuring Paperboy Prince.Rico Nasty painted the town green this week with a little help from Flo Milli for her new single, “Money.
“The kind of music I grew up with at Christmas was always from old school crooners like Sinatra or 50’s jazz artists like Chet Baker and Billie Holiday,” Will says of the song’s inspo in a press statement. “I’m not jazz-trained and would never claim this is a jazz song, but that world definitely informed a lot of the chords and vocal delivery on it. To me, that’s what Christmas sounds like.
